It’s very early in the morning. I am still excited after having had the experience of another soiree with you last night. Thank you to those of you who were able to make the time to attend. There is something about simply making the time to come together to sing that is balm for the soul.
There’s a song that asks ‘where has the time all gone to?’ YIKES!!!
It seems that we started the season a short while ago and here we are less than a month from the close of the season.
It is unfortunate that the ‘summer project’ has been delayed and life does what it does. It gives an opportunity to explore something else.
I encourage you to invite friends and loved ones to the closing season concert. Even invite people of whom you’re marginally acquainted or for whom you’d like to become fond. They may just love you for it.
This coming Tuesday is another important rehearsal. It’s challenge time. I have a hunch that every person living on planet earth usually grows when challenged. I’ve grown leaps and bounds this season. Another YIKES!!!
So for now, Happy Mother’s day to those of you who are celebrating Mother’s Day.
For those of us who are childless, simply being alive may just be enough to make it a happy day for us too.

Time passes and so do we. Thank you to those of you who have commented, questioned and asked for clarification to my most recent newsletter.
I assure you I harbour no ill feelings towards anyone. It’s a funny thing about telling one’s truth, though. I think some people tend to imagine that anger is a natural part of truth telling. Although I admit that anger is sometimes a legitimate response to one’s experience of types of disrespect and injustice, it is not so in this case. Frankly, I just haven’t time to give to anger. I do, however, have to acknowledge that nothing we do is done in a vacuum and occasionally hang the ‘stuff to dry’.
I simply want you (and you do know who you are) to be willing to talk to me about issues that have to do with me – the choice of music, rehearsal techniques and concert planning.
That’s really it.
